"Go therefore, and make disciples of all the nations,
baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son
and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things
that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always,
even unto the end of the age.  Amen"   Matthew 28:19-20

Why was the offering named for this early China missionary? Throughout her career, Lottie Moon wrote numerous letters home, urging Southern Baptists to greater missions involvement and support. One of those letters triggered the Southern Baptists' first Christmas offering for international missions, enough to send three new missionaries to China.
Annie Armstrong was a tall, stately, outspoken, strong-willed leader who was no doubt the kind of person needed in the days of a pioneer organization. An organizational genius, she was described by many as tireless. She was a self-starter and could do many things well. She had unlimited energy, was resourceful and persevering, stood up for her convictions, and expressed her opinion openly and strongly.

The Annie Armstrong Easter Offering is an annual gift that we collect for the North American Mission Board.  This offering is unique because every dime collected goes directly to the missionaries who are serving throughout North America.
